Fontainebleau Forest, Village, River

A lovely 2 room property for rent - short-term or until mid October, in the village, very close to the Fontainebleau forest (great for walking, hundreds of miles of trails) and the river Seine (great for swimming, many beaches)! A fully equiped kitchen with table for 4, stove, oven, microwave, etc. (no dishwasher). A bathroom with shower, sink, WC and a washing machine. A main room / bedroom with a very comfortable sofa bed that becomes a queen size bed with pretty firm matress. Internet, stereo, televison and telephone included. Computers, laptops, printers and scanners included. Big closet space. There is a small rool for storage and for drying clothes when it rains. Best of all is the large drive-in gated garden with lawn and patio. 28 sq. meters inside, 100 sq. meters garden. A 10 min walk from the train station of Fontainbleau, a 10 min walk to the chateau of Fontainebleau. 15 min to the river. Shopping in 5 min, as is the forest. Horse racing in the forest, as is the Impressionist painters village of Barbizon - an hour on foot or so. There is also bus service all over the area. The bike path from Scandanavia to Portugal goes through the middle of town! Wonderful for cycling, hiking, walking, swimming or relaxing. The town of Fontainebleau has many, many cultural offerings. We could put another pull-out sofa-bed in the large, sunny kitchen, for an additional fee.
